Executive Summary:
Yosi Health is a profitable, founder-led SaaS company hiring a hands-on Director of Finance/Controller to build and own the disciplined financial foundation.

This role exists to ensure financial clarity, control, pricing discipline, and performance accountability as we scale. You will work directly with the CEO and own the financial function end-to-end as a hands-on operator.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • 12+ years’ experience.
  • Prior experience working at a $5–25M ARR healthcare company.
  • Experience in a bootstrapped or profitable business.
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial controls hands-on.
  • Deep involvement in close, forecasting, and cash management.
  • Experience developing SaaS metrics and cost discipline.
  • Pricing model experience strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Controls & Reporting

  • Establish and maintain a predictable monthly close (≤10 business days).
  • Ensure GAAP-compliant financials.
  • Implement practical internal controls appropriate for company size and scale.
  • Maintain clean documentation and audit-ready records.
  • Deliver clear, concise monthly reporting to leadership.

2. Cash Management & Financial Visibility

  • Maintain accurate, real-time visibility into cash position.
  • Actively manage working capital.
  • Improve the cash conversion cycle where possible.
  • Identify financial risks early and communicate clearly.

3. Revenue, Billing & Margin Discipline

  • Own SaaS revenue recognition accuracy.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure customers are billed accurately based on usage and utilization.
  • Provide clear gross margin and contribution margin visibility.
  • Identify revenue leakage or inefficiencies.
  • Reduce A/R through automation and collection efforts.
  • Ensure strong financial hygiene across contracts and pricing structures.

4. Product Pricing & Cost Discipline

  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Leadership to evaluate and refine pricing strategy.
  • Analyze product-level costs, contribution margins, and profitability.
  • Coordinate pricing analysis based on market positioning and competitive landscape.
  • Model pricing scenarios for new products, feature releases, and market expansion.
  • Ensure pricing decisions are grounded in financial data.
  • Establish discipline around discounting and deal structures.

5. Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Build and manage a rolling 12–18 month forecast.
  • Develop and maintain annual operating budgets.
  • Monitor performance against budget with clear variance analysis.
  • Establish accountability across departments for financial performance.
  • Develop and track key SaaS metrics including ARR/MRR, Gross Margin, CAC, LTV, Net Revenue Retention, Churn, and Cash Runway.
  • Provide scenario modeling to support hiring and growth decisions.

6. Systems & Process

  • Evaluate and improve finance systems and reporting tools.
  • Automate billing and integrate internal systems that track usage.
  • Ensure systems scale with growth without unnecessary complexity.
  • Document financial processes clearly.
  • Review contracts and MSAs to ensure financial controls are accurately established.
  • Build and manage a lean, high-performing finance team over time.

7. CEO Partnership & Strategic Readiness

  • Serve as a direct thought partner to the CEO.
  • Provide financial clarity in strategic decisions.
  • Push back when necessary.
  • Prepare the company for future optionality (funding, debt, M&A) without overbuilding prematurely.

Within 90 Days:

  • Clean, predictable close.
  • Clear cash visibility.
  • Accurate revenue and margin reporting.
  • Reduced A/R beyond 30 days.

Within 6 Months:

  • Rolling forecast in place and trusted.
  • Budget discipline across departments.
  • Defined SaaS metrics tracked consistently.

Within 12 Months:

  • Diligence-ready financials.
  • Clear product-level profitability.
  • Confident forecasting and performance management.
