Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can operate independently at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering. This role is highly execution-focused and hands-on, with deep responsibility for translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our India-based engineering teams.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, trusted by customers, viewed internally as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), and capable of driving clarity in ambiguous environments. You will work closely with Product Managers but will own requirements, coordination, and delivery support end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary business and domain SME for assigned products or customer implementations.
  • Work directly with customers to gather, clarify, and validate business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Support Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation teams with deep product and workflow knowledge.
  • Participate in customer calls, demos, and issue-resolution discussions as needed.

Requirements & Documentation

  • Create clear, detailed artifacts such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories with acceptance criteria, process flows, data flow diagrams, and integration specifications.
  • Ensure requirements are unambiguous, testable, and aligned with product and technical constraints.
  • Maintain traceability from business goals to requirements to delivered features.

Engineering Coordination (Onshore–Offshore Model)

  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore (India-based) engineering teams.
  • Conduct backlog grooming, requirement walkthroughs, and clarification sessions with engineers.
  • Answer functional questions during development and QA cycles.
  • Proactively identify gaps, risks, and dependency issues and drive resolution.

Delivery & Execution Support

  • Work closely with Product Managers to support roadmap execution.
  • Assist in sprint planning, reviews, and release readiness from a requirements standpoint.
  • Validate completed work against acceptance criteria before release.
  • Support UAT efforts and coordinate feedback loops between customers, QA, and engineering.

Platform & Technology Understanding

  • Develop strong working knowledge of Yosi’s platform, APIs, data flows, and integrations.
  • Understand and document impacts related to the legacy platform (PHP/HTML) and migration to React.js, Node.js, and modernized AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with Solution Architects and Engineering leads on system design implications.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a SaaS or healthcare technology environment.
  • Direct experience working in a B2B2C SaaS platform.
  • Experience working in an onshore–offshore delivery model, preferably with India-based engineering teams.
  • Strong background working directly with customers or external stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare, patient engagement, EHR, scheduling, billing, or practice management platforms is a strong plus.

  • Experience supporting or documenting platform migrations or modernization efforts is a plus.
